Lion S. Camacho asked if we should discuss Lion G. Ingram’s proposal to the Lafayette about lunch which was the $15 flat rate with specific lunch options to be selected during the lunch RSVP to help streamline food options. The general consensus was that it was well written and makes sense and we’re going to send it to the Lafayette and add the options to the google doc rsvp form. If it doesn’t work, we can always change it. Lion J. Greene also mentioned it would be nice for the staff to not come in once the speaker has started so there aren’t interruptions on serving/clearing dishes while the meeting and speaker is presenting. We agreed we can relay this request to the staff at the hotel.

We did Good of the order and adjourned. As part of Good of the Order, Lion S. Camacho gave an update on the state-wide shoe collection. Our club won the award at convention for the Most Soleful Club for collecting the most shoes. Ohio Lions Pediatric Cancer Foundation will get a check for $6,310 for the donated shoes and that money will be split with Kids Get Cancer Too who supports kids with cancer in ways that sometimes the OLPCF can’t because of the bylaws. Thank you to Lion B. Hadfield and Lion P. Byers for drinks and food tonight and to Lion P.Byers for her leadership as President this year.
Respectfully submitted, Secretary Lion K. Burnworth
