My Very Own Blanket Project – Our Club Made 100 Tie Blankets

Even in the colder months and recent weather, our members have found ways to Serve!Under the Lions Club District OH 7 My Very Own Blanket project, our club made 100 tie blankets for Foster Kids in SE Ohio Today, we delivered to Noble and Monroe Counties Children Services 60 blankets to children in need. Morgan County Children’s Services will receive the other 40 blankets, as our other Washington County Lions Clubs (Beverly Lions) serviced the Washington County Children Services needs. Tonight, we had the pleasure to host Lions from near and far to celebrate our momentous occasion – our 100th anniversary of our chartering. 100 years, thousands of lives impacted, and thousands of hours served – and we will continue to Serve! Tonight three of our members trekked up to the Millersport Ohio Lions Club Official Millersport Sweet Corn Festival to work in the district booth.All funds raised at the booths benefit local nonprofits.Our district booth this year is raising funds for the Ohio Sight and Hearing Foundation!Members also supported the Pickerington and Hebron Lions clubs with their food purchases!
