Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Liberty Smith and Lyza Miller for lunch – who shared with us about their Nationwide Jamboree goals and what they’re doing as young leaders in our community! Both ladies are on track to become Golden Eagle Scouts (Golden Award in the Girl Scouts and Eagle Scout rank in the Scouts)! They then helped us bag 1400 pairs of shoes for pediatric cancer that were collected across our community and donated from Cobbler John’s! Thank you ladies and best of luck in all you do!

Thank you to Pat Ralston and Carol Greening from the The Ohio State University Extension Office Master Gardeners. Carol and Pat are volunteers with the Washington County Master Gardeners and spoke about their partnership the Juvenile Detention Center to cultivate their own garden. The environment is near and dear to our mission – so we love learning about others serving our community in this way as well! Thank you!

We hosted our zone meeting for Lions Clubs in The Washington and Morgan counties on Wednesday night. Food, fun, recognition, information, and lots of fellowship! We had over 560 years of service recognized, over $20,000 in donations, and many hours of service!
