Read More2023 Bridge of Heroes Link to Purchasing Sponsorships: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/copy-of-bridge-of-heroes-tickets-534119484757 Flag sponsorships are now on sale for the 2023 Bridge of Heroes The Bridge of Heroes project was established to honor our community’s military veterans and service members. The flags are displayed on the Putnam Street bridge in Marietta during the weeks of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. Community members are invited to sponsor a flag in honor or memory of their favorite veteran. Sponsorships for the 2023 Bridge of Heroes are $100 and include all three holidays. Each flag will have a tag that includes the name of the veteran/service member, as well as the name of the person, group, or business that purchased the sponsorship. Sponsorships will be available from March 1-April 30 or until sold out. Previous Next

We enjoyed a wonderful meal provided by Hog Hollow BBQ LLC, a wine and beer tasting with selections from WineTree Vineyards Winery and Old Bridge Brewing Company, and amazing desserts from DaVinci’s Restaurant and Jeremiah’s Coffee House. This group loves to have fun. If you’re looking for a service organization with great people and a lot of heart, you should check us out!
Read More[smartslider3 slider=”3″]Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion! Santa took Clover’s wish, hoping that she could come home to Hayden for Christmas, and the Lions of OH7, gave him some help! Clover will be Hayden’s Service Dog. We have hit our initial goal, and will keep taking donations through Christmas! Any funds raised past the initial $10,000, will enable us to make a larger impact with our LCIF grant next year with any left over funds. Thank you, for dedicating the many hours of work to fund raise, and to share that with this family. Clover will be working with her handler, Devon Patterson, as a Service Dog at Meigs County Schools during her training. She will provide a medical response to her handler that will absolutely improve his quality of life. Service Dogs in our area are a NEW thing. Across the country Service Animals have had protection from the ADA since 1990.
