Tonight, we had the pleasure to host Lions from near and far to celebrate our momentous occasion – our 100th anniversary of our chartering. 100 years, thousands of lives impacted, and thousands of hours served – and we will continue to Serve! Thank you to Josh Schlicher, Mayor of Marietta Ohio for the proclamation, IPID KittyandRon Keller for serving as our keynote speaker, and all the Lions from our club and others for celebrating with us! A zone meeting brings together the clubs from Washington and Morgan counties to share food, fun, and fellowship – as well as great ideas and service projects!District Governor Lilane Fox presented a lot of great information – including our district service project!Marietta Noon was also recognized for their recent donations toward pediatric cancer research here in Ohio.
